Christina Aguilera rocks out with a shirtless Adam Levine during the video shoot for their song “Moves Like Jagger” on Friday (July 8th) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old entertainer joined the 32-year-old Maroon 5 frontman for the shoot, which also featured the song’s inspiration, the legendary Mick Jagger, according to Us Weekly.
“Always great to see Jonas Akerlund. He created the perfect feel for the song. Expect a fun video,” Christina tweeted about the video.
“Just wrapped #moveslikejagger video. Its outrageous and amazing!” Adam tweeted at the end of the shoot.
Christina, Adam, and their fellow The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green will be returning for a second season of their hit competition show.
CHANNEL 9 has won the rights for a local version of the big American hit of the year, The Voice.
The big question now is about who will be involved in the show.
The show is centred around mentors and judges finding one big voice.
In the US, the big mentor is Christina Aguilera and one whisper is that producers and Nine are chasing Aguilera for the local version.

The Voice has had huge success in its first season, so it’s no surprise that NBC has picked it up for a second. And the next season will premiere in February. Not that we’re in any rush, this one hasn’t even ended yet.
And the best news is, Cee-Lo Green told Hollyscoop that all the judges will be back.
“It’s broadened my horizon, it’s been a very learning experience,’ Green told Hollyscoop. “It’s been a treat, very simply said. I’m very fortunate for the opportunity. I want to make the most of it. It seems to be going very great. People are really, really embracing the show and they’re really enjoying themselves.”
There’s no doubt about that. Ever since it’s debut, The Voice has been doing better than expected in the ratings pool. It beat out Glee on its opening night.
“We have officially been picked up for a second season,” Cee-Lo assured us.
As far as the ongoing feuding between Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine, Cee-Lo told Hollyscoop it’s all friendly.
“It’s a bit of bantering, if you will,” Cee-Lo said. “Of course there’s a bit of friendly competition. I think even with the battle rounds and last night, we all kind of get in our mind that every now and again that ok, this is serious. Other than that, we’re very comfortable with each other.”

LOS ANGELES — At home here on Saturday afternoon, Paul Telegdy, who heads up reality programming for NBC, directed his Web browser to a real-time search engine of Twitter messages and checked in on “The Voice,” the Tuesday night singing competition that is his network’s strongest new entry in several years.
There were dozens of Twitter messages each minute from viewers about “The Voice.” “Hey, what’s going on?” he wondered. Then he remembered: the E! channel, an NBC Universal sibling, was running a marathon of the season to date.
“I was sort of overwhelmed by how much interactivity there was,” Mr. Telegdy said the next day, again refreshing the search engine. (“You have to be careful you don’t check every five seconds,” he added.)
Helped along by online chitchat, cable marathons and a cast of four celebrity coaches, “The Voice” is in the midst of a crescendo, as this Tuesday’s show starts a climactic period of live broadcasts and live rejections of contestants. The show, which had its premiere at the end of April, is averaging about 12.9 million viewers, and, more important for NBC, about 7.35 million of them are between the ages of 18 to 49, making it the No. 1 new series of the television season with that group.

With “The Voice,” it looks like NBC has finally gotten the hit it desperately needs.
The second week of the singing competition delivered an average of 12.4 million total viewers from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., up 5% from last week’s impressive premiere, according to the Nielsen Co.
“The Voice” thus becomes the only new series on any of the major networks this season to deliver a bump from the first to second episode, usually a reliable indicator of hit status.
Best of all for long-suffering NBC, “The Voice” is showing its strongest numbers among young adults. In the key advertising category of adults age 18 to 49, Tuesday’s airing scored a 5.6 rating/14 share, making it the night’s top-rated show. It easily swept past “Glee,” which delivered a 3.6 rating/10 share at 8 p.m.
Last week’s premiere of “The Voice” had a median viewer age of 40.6 — which might not sound all that youthful, but is compared with much of the competition on TV, especially crime shows.

NBC’s hotly anticipated and heavily promoted talent show ‘The Voice’ premiered in the US last night and ratings were on fire! The show attracted over 11.4 million viewers during the first hour and increased in its second hour to a very impressive 12.2 million viewers. These numbers also beat out popular TV show ‘Glee’ by over 2.8 million viewers. The Carson Daly hosted show consists of judges Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green, and Blake Shelton going through a “blind auditions” process so that vocals are the only quality that gets judged. All coaches battle it out for the singers to join their teams hoping that they can find the next big recording artist. The winner will then snag a recording contract with Universal Republic.
‘The Voice’ was a very enjoyable affair last night. What makes it so much more refreshing from conglomerate talent shows such as ‘American Idol’ and ‘The X Factor’ is that there are less gimmicks. They do not exploit unfortunate singers for entertainment value. This alone gives the show that nice balance of authenticity. It’s also fascinating watching the coaches compete against each other, and selling themselves to the contending singers. Juding by the previews, I assumed it was Aguilera and Green who were the competitors. However, last night’s episode saw Levine and Aguilera playing cat and mouse antics whenever they’d reach out to the same singers. Levine came across as ruthlessly cunning with his dirty selling tactics to an extent where contestants felt backed into his corner even before making their decisions.
Christina’s approach was fun, bubbly and sexy. Her flirtatious nature with some of the male singers made for entertaining viewing and her laugh is very contagious. I liked that she went after the soulful powerhouse singers that she felt were in her comfort zone. All the judges had the same motive, selecting acts that they could relate to in terms of their OWN singing techniques and genres. For example, all the powerhouse soul singers are assigned to Aguilera, and all the country singers are assigned to Shelton.
Biggest laugh of the show? Tarryln Ramsey‘s eye watering lace front and Aggy telling a country male contestant to drop his pants. Biggest shock? Seeing disqualified American Idol contestant Frenchie Davis auditioning and making it through to Team Aguilera. Now that’s random! The fact is, ‘The Voice’ isn’t just your typical talent show. It is based on pure vocal talent and judged by a panel who ALL have vocal talent themselves. Neither coach is allowed to have their judgement clouded by good looks, sexy costumes and whatever gimmicky tactics you’d see on American Idol.
If you’re looking for a talent show with a great concept and a completely different twist, tune into ‘The Voice’ every Tuesday night. Make it your top priority entertainment. I simply cannot wait to tune in next week. Congrats to Aguilera on achieving a ratings winner, which is indeed “What A Girl Wants”. After her latest struggles, this is definetely the push Aguilera is in need of to positively catapult her career again.
