Christina Aguilera rocks out with a shirtless Adam Levine during the video shoot for their song “Moves Like Jagger” on Friday (July 8th) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old entertainer joined the 32-year-old Maroon 5 frontman for the shoot, which also featured the song’s inspiration, the legendary Mick Jagger, according to Us Weekly.
“Always great to see Jonas Akerlund. He created the perfect feel for the song. Expect a fun video,” Christina tweeted about the video.
“Just wrapped #moveslikejagger video. Its outrageous and amazing!” Adam tweeted at the end of the shoot.
Christina, Adam, and their fellow The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green will be returning for a second season of their hit competition show.
Christina Aguilera has beaten the likes of Lady GaGa and Katy Perry to the title of the most empowering song of the last ten years, according to a poll conducted with lesbian, gay and bisexual people.
Equality organisation Stonewall put together the online poll, where over 1,000 supporters were asked which track of the last decade they felt had the most empowering message.
Xtina’s 2003 hit Beautiful came out on top with 33% of the vote, while Boyzone’s tune Better achieved 25%, leaving it in second place.
Ronan Keating and Co were the first boyband to feature a homosexual couple in the video for Better, where the late Stephen Gately posed in the promo with a male lover.
Christina’s video for Beautiful also includes a gay couple, who openly kiss and hold hands in public.
GaGa’s anthem, Born This Way, placed third with 17%, with Gossip’s Standing In The Way Of Control and Katy Perry’s Firework just behind her.
After learning that she had topped the poll, Aguilera stated: “I’m delighted to have been voted the most inspirational pop act by Stonewall’s supporters – my gay fan base is so important to me and this continues my special relationship with them.”

By now, the whole world has chimed in with their opinions about Christina Aguilera’s flub while singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” before last night’s record-breaking Super Bowl. Even the nasty-delicious Joan Rivers gave her two cents on the whole situation: “How stupid can you get?” she told PopEater earlier today. “Christina must have been thinking about food, that’s why she forgot the words.” I repeat: Even Joan Rivers gave her two cents on the whole situation. We have hit that rock-bottom low, people. Everyone from talk-radio pundits to bloggers around the country have had something to say about it, with some of it getting rather nasty, including accusations that I’m not even really going to dignify here with a link.
To all this I have a response: Can we all take a minute and just calm down please? I’m not condoning what happened — Aguilera messed up part of the ever-important national anthem, switching out the line “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming” with her own creation of “What so proudly we watched, at the twilight’s last gleaming” — but it was just that: a simple mistake. She didn’t hurt anyone. The world is still spinning. The Super Bowl continued with its ridiculous amounts of fanfare and promotional activities and commercials and Gatorade dumping. Aguilera even apologized: “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.” And it’s not even like the diva’s career is over because of the flub: Aguilera will apparently sing at the Grammys this Sunday alongside Jennifer Hudson. Can a girl get a break?
The reality of the situation is that we all screw up, accidents happen (especially amid the pressure of such a bevy of viewers), and it’s high time to forgive. If you have issues with Christina for other reasons — say, her commercial bomb of an album Bionic or her recent divorce or the shade of her lipstick last night — then you should probably own up to those reasons, rather than give into the silliness surrounding her messing up a few words in “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Does anyone out there agree with me? Can we all start forgiving Christina now?

Grammy-winning and chart-topping singer Christina Aguilera will receive the 2,423rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday, nine days before her feature film debut in “Burlesque.”
Aguilera’s manager, Irving Azoff, and Clint Culpepper, president of Screen Gems, which is releasing “Burlesque,” will join Aguilera in speaking at the ceremony, set to begin at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard.
Born Dec. 18, 1980 in Staten Island, N.Y., and raised outside of Pittsburgh, Aguilera first appeared on national television in 1990 as a contestant on “Star Search.”
As a youth, Aguilera sang the national anthem before Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins games, including during the 1992 Stanley Cup Finals.
Aguilera was a cast member of Disney Channel’s “The All New Mickey Mouse Club,” during the 1993-93 season, with castmates including Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
Aguilera’s self-titled debut album was released on Aug. 24, 1999, reaching the top of the Billboard 200, with more than eight million copies sold in the United States.
Aguilera’s 2006 album “Back to Basics,” would also reach the top of the sales charts, along with four of her singles, “Genie in a Bottle,” “What a Girl Wants” “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)” and “Lady Marmalade.”
Aguilera won the first of her four Grammys in 1999 as best new artist.
She also won Grammys in 2001 for best pop collaboration with vocals for “Lady Marmalade,” and for best female pop vocal performance in both 2003 and 2006 for “Beautiful” and “Ain’t No Other Man.”
In “Burlesque,” Aguilera stars opposite Cher as a small-town girl who grew up in seven foster homes, who makes her way to a Los Angeles burlesque club to pursue her dreams.
Aguilera also wrote and recorded four new songs for the musical’s soundtrack.

You’ve covered Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Jennifer Holliday. Are there any artists you’d like to cover on the show?
Sunshine (her character) would love to dance. I would love to try a Michael Jackson song. I also haven’t covered any Christina Aguilera, but I love her.
Tell Ryan Murphy to write you a pensive moment so you can sing “Reflection” from Mulan.
(Laughing) I’ll have to see how the story goes.
